never use software for overclocking..not recommended.

bios is the best way to overclock cpu's...

use google and u shud come up with a few guides for overclocking cpu's...

and for gpu's use msi afterburner or evga precison

Look in ur bios for MIT or motherboard intelligent tweaker in gigabyte boards... there ull have the options to chnage clock speed... if its a Black edition processor u can change the multiplier as well... change the clock speed slowly in 5Mhz steps until u reach a high enough speed and the computer is also stable... hope this helps :)

in short, increase the FSB by 2 or 3, run a software called orthos for at least 15 min....if the temp are not too high, like 80-85 degrees, and if the orthos is stable , u rgood to go

repeat, then a time will come when u'll have to reduce the multiplier, as the RAM timings are related to CPU multiplier

do this till u get a good FSB to multiplier ratio, keep the temp under control...thats it

Before you do any kind of overclocking... please google and read up as much info as you can about the basics of overclocking.

Trust me, it'll be time consuming but fun.

I don't have the same setup with me but like others have suggested I would also recommend that you read up a few how to OC articles and then you get a stable OC out of BIOS and then get those final MHz from within the OS using ET6!

AMD will also need a decent aftermarket cooler to have 24X7 OC!
