About Vista Build 6000

Still havent got my serial from Connect (didnt check it today)... Although downloaded it... Seems to be very good.... Its unexpectedly turned out very very good compared to the builds we tested....

And vista is not just the visual effects. The GUI mayb only 5% of the advantages of Vista over XP in my opinion. If u understand the hard work they have done in a complete re-design of XP (in actually 2 years) after the original plan was scraped, then I think its a pretty good job!!

While playing games in Vista...i got real low FPS!!..

any reasons ?...i did download the beta drivers from Nvidia....but no use..:(

any solutions?

is everyone facing the same problem?
 
Finally got hands on with Vista 6000 build. whats RTM i came across RTM a lot. how can i install Vista in my system as dual boot? is upgrade option good? which serial key to use? RTM serial? will there be any activation for 30 days or so?
 
^where did u get a RTM vista ?? ;)

the notes as to how abt doing must be avail in the same source as where u got the RTM build..
 
i dont know whats the meaning of RTM so asked u guys whats RTM!!
so is build 6000 is RTM or something?? can i install build 6000? please reply my post no. 25

RTM = release to manufacturing .... Install normally on a different partition/drive, the Vista boot loader will detect the XP installation. You will get a choice at startup, to boot Xp or Vista ... you can upgrade too, but best to have a seperate install. The copy expires in 30days, unless you activate it but there are workarounds :)
 
Hi guys. finally installed Build 6000. its rock stable. i download C**** from net and activated successfully with RC2 key. i want to know is there any Time/Period limitation with this 6000 Build version?? sorry if this (P) talk is not allowed here but can anyone help me. installed this OS just to see features and how do i flip windows and arrange it in 3D?

it wont work after a few days... mayb a after Jan 30th (not sure with the exact date), but this activation wont work coz they r gonna make an update to the activation servers. Till then enjoy the "Genuine Windows" icon on system properties!!

Also remember that if u downloaded an Volume Subscription build, then MS has already sent an email which says that MVLS windows that was downloaded earlier was an incorrect build. So, u know exactly what can happen if u have one of those old MVLS builds. Changed (read real) MVLS builds were released mayb 3-4 days back!!
 
i got Re-Arm_Unlimited_Installer_2.0.. hope that works... its possessing unlimited usage of vista. :cool: but Build 6000 is really having final touches vista! CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO FLIP A WINDOW IN VISTA IN 3D??
 
^^ its in quick launch, the icon is next to the show desktop icon. if your quick launch is not enabled, then right click on your taskbar > go to toolbars > select quicklaunch & make sure its ticked.
 
Make sure your card supports aero, and click on the 'switch between windows' tab on the quick launch bar :)
