My AC is leading to egregious electricity bills. Does an AC use less electricity when it is run in dehumidifier mode as compared to cooling mode?

How old is AC?

Is it inverter base or normal one?

When did you last service it?

How much bill increase compare to same period last year?

can not answer Q4 because AC less than 1 year old.

Ax still require every 6 month service so if you have time just clean indoor filter and wash outer with water, there's no need to ask for service person if you have overhead tank.

Howmany hour ac you use every day?

And which company AC we are talking about here?
 
Bhai any ac which is working 24 hour bill going to come in huge..

Constant working make compressor hot even in inverter system which automatically raise Ampere ac taking.

You can easily survive if you keep AC off in morning time if possible.

Just take electricity meter reading today and next day same time and see howmany unit are consuming total in 24 hour..
