Hi everyone,

I got a copy of AC: Rogue as a gift from my brother. However, after purchasing it I noticed the cover of the DVD has an image stating 'Storage required'. My query is can someone play this game on a 4 GB Xbox 360 Slim.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that one cannot use flash drives as a means for storing game data in a Slim.

Thanks,

The game data it install is rather small, say about 550MB or so. If your brother's Slim doesn't have sufficient storage on the internal drive, he'd have to format the USB drive to operate as an Official Microsoft storage device. This can be done from within the console's formatting options. The game can then be installed on it.

Hey, thank for your response. I did run the game on the console and it occupied 1 GB of storage space.
Also, I did a bit of research on this on the weekend and it seems one can install most games on a pen drive with some exceptions (Battlefield 4 and Xbox original games). The only conditions are that the pen drive should be a USB 2.0, capacity should be 16 GB of less (although many users are have reported using a 32 GB pen drive with no issues) and should be of SanDisk.
Upon inserting in the console, the pen drive needs to be formatted, as you mentioned, in order to be identified as a storage device.

Yes I've been using the USB method for a year or two now and it works well on any USB2.0 device. Only thing is the pen drive has to be mated to the Xbox now and can't be reused without formatting anymore and also it is significantly slower than the hdd (obviously).
