The specs mention TV Out and it does hav a 7 pin S-Video connector...

I used a ATI Radeon 9500 pro's TV Out cable with it, which consists of a 1 RC to 1 RC Cable and a RC to 7 pin S-Video Converter...

The Intel Graphic driver is supposed to show me multiple displays.. but it doesnt detect the multiple displays (hav switched on the TV)

somethings wrong wid the Cable .. pointers to getting the right TV Out Cable or i m missing some option in my driver.. cudnt find a option to force TV Detection..

MODS: Sorry, can someone make the Title more specific - Acer 3682 Laptop : TV Out Problem

did u try chngng the driver.Usually there will be a second display option in control panel->display properties.Or a keyboard shortcut.
Most likely the driver is old.

guys.. any clue abt a proper 7 pin S-Video cable?.. wud it be worth trying?

Dnt know much of these thngs.i usually used a S-Video out and usually worked without any fuss.Try to chng cable if possible.

Seems like a dinged cable to me....

anyway, make sure that the comp is off when connecting cable for the 1st time,

Use this sequence then:

Connect the cable

Switch on TV

Switch on lappy

Then Hit the fn+(x) (x= hotkey for Display switching) else, navigate to display properties andsee fi the TV shows up there
