Laptops Acer 5738G

I am getting a used Acer 5738G with Genuine Windows 7 Ultimate at 28K, 2-3 months warranty left.
Core2Duo 2.2 Ghz
4 GB DDR3
15.6 Inch
Nvidia 512MB
My question,
Is this a good model to go for .. Over heating problems ? or any other issues with this laptop or Acer laptops ?
Is warranty extendable for Acer Laptops ?
How fair the deal is in terms of price ? Or what price do you think i should go for ?
 
warranty can be extended if needed for 4K for 1 year. you may want to check out the laptop at the nearest mall or something coz personally im not really happy with the plastic they've used on the laptop. the speakers are underpowered too.

Doesn't matter buddy for the cheap plastic if it doesn't break in just regular home use, Yes its not intended to be carried outside I'm gonna use it at home and doesnt matter about speakers too,, But do you own this Laptop or have a friend who uses it ? I've heard it has over heating problems ? and is this a good deal that I'm getting, buyer has already stated that he is open to negotiation and so what is the price that I should offer him and also this deal has to be done in urgent basis, so please quick responses needed..

FYI,

I use my laptop for like 12-13 hours a day.

its been 11 months since i bought it.

Look at the area marked in red especially on the left. that area used to heat up bit but my palm would rest on it too. possibly due to prolonged use and sweaty palms in mumbai weather, the surface has become darker.

The sticker is also wearing out. I am trying to avoid removing it as it would look horrible after that.

I am using acer 5738z. config is Dual core T4200.320gb.2gb ddr3.intel GMA 4500M.

I bought a dell 14R last week for my cousin and it looks far more sturdy than acer.

Edit: i think 25K-26K should be a good price for this laptop.
