The Adamo is Dell’s upcoming luxury notebook product. Currently, the XPS notebooks are as good as it gets for Dell notebooks, but they’ll have to move over for the Adamo. But rather than focus on performance, which is what the XPS line does best, the Adamo appears to be about form first.
Adamo is Latin and translates roughly "to fall in love with, to find pleasure with." That’s the sort of feeling that the design evokes.
Dell has a laptop coming that may be both lighter and thinner than the MacBook Air.
And an analyst says that Dell could "shave $400 off the MacBook Air price pretty easily."
Engadget also has further details on the Adamo, saying it will be marketed as the world's thinnest laptop some time around February, featuring a black and silver color scheme.
