^^^ Dude, I heard about GOGO girls . GOGO ladies I am not sure... but I am sure you have a reason for liking those ladies:P

But thanks all you guys!! Gonna give our best shot.

And make sure u guys dont've problem with food over there;

Veggies'd have to virtually struggle in order to make sure they dont burn a hole in their pocket for food; :ashamed:

I have been there twice in past. I dont have isssue with Burger kings and Italian/Mexican Joints in general.:)

Best of Luck Harshal and Amey, I dont have an iota of doubt that we (if you dont mind me using that) are gonna rock and give a good challenge to all other participants.....

I hope I am not sounding too arrogant or over confident when I say this but yeah man thats da plan as of now. Hoping the luck also has the best of it for us and we can deliver in the right time frame :D

I guess only brains; :D

They'd usually sponsor all the stuff inc DICE; :)

Perhaps DICE container; no clue on that;

usually in such contests they have to carry their own LN2/d'ice pots... and cooling materials(insulation and stuff)
thats why i was asking :D

this is sort of a unique thing for me, wherein they will cover even a product failure for the first time and give u a replacement for it so that you can continue with the competition. Also out here we are not talking about Dice but LN2, wherein even LN2 pots will be given by the sponsors. But LN2 benching is on 2nd day and not included in competition but only for personal records and fun.

Hardware Mods are also allowed so basically, participants have to carry their own Modding Hardware, whatever you can think of, surge protectors, some insulation for 2nd day etc.

"28th July - International OC Arena

Hardware Configuration:

- Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770
- ASUS P5Q3 Deluxe
- ASUS ENGTX280
- Kingston HyperX DDR3-1800 or DDR3-2000
- > 1KW PSU (Brand/Model TBD)
Weapons :

- All hardware will be provided by ASUS and participants are to use them only. A pre-check will be conducted.
- Bring your own LN2 pots for CPU/GPU/Chipset. (LN2, Dry Ice and thermo flasks will be provided).
- Modding of hardware is allowed so bring your modding tool kit too

- All HDD will be provided and pre-installed with XP and Vista. XP is for SuperPI and 3DMark01 while Vista is for 3DMark Vantage.
- All HDD will be pre-installed with the standard set of tweaking tools and drivers. No outside software allowed, so no thumb drives etc.
- If any of your hardware fails during the competition, you may request for a replacement. However, if the same piece of hardware fails again, no further replacement will be provided.
Scoring Rules:

- Get the highest score possible for each benchmark within a given timeframe
- Points will be allocated according to ranking of your scores. For eg. 1st - 20 pts, 2nd - 18pts.
- Raise your hand to submit a score and a marshall will verify and take down the score.
- Highest total points at end of time wins.
- scores submitted after the given time frame will not be counted
Some Tips

- Bring along insulation materials, case fans, CPU coolers etc.
- Hair dryers are useful so bring them along.
- UPS and Surge protectors are allowed if you want to bring along
- Hong Kong uses 3pin G type socket, 220V 50Hz

So I hope this clears it now:bleh:

@ Banik, replacing hardware one time if it goes bad is nothing new. All the compy I have been to they replace the part one time. If you can get going well & good. Else you are in "DNF" Catagory.

:drool2: Harshal dada has already played with a ~ config if not the newer GTX280; :)

Have tried everything. GTX came in today. ASUS India was kind enough to support me with crazy hardware. Many thanks to them :)
