forget thinking about resale stuff enjoy the hardware of 27k in 17k and have fun live in present
Agreed, Wave indeed looks a great VFM at that price. It surprises me how samsung could surpass Symbian S60 v5 in terms of UI and snappiness with their baby OS. [I agree, the 1 GHz A8, PowerVR SGX 540, (provided that hardware acceleration is enabled? Is it , can anyone enlighten us, considering that Android is yet to have that feature.? ) does help

].
In short, as said by others, it seems if you can wait, (which is what I'm doing for now, waiting for price drops;one the dual-cores come, 1GHZ would go mainstream

) for say,3-6 months, you are likely to get much better choices for your budget.
(Keep in mind, that this is not only because of the constantly declining h/w prices, but also because of the change to a new ARM architecture, which coupled with a switch to 45 nm [Qualcomm yet to do it], should considerably reduce the prices)...
Else, go for Wave if you are ok with a device which right now, has one of the best hardware and surprisingly good OS . (IMHO, for the price). Only, if you want to do lots of fiddling, Wave may fall short. AFAIK, there are still some major applications you may be familiar to , which have not yet officially reached BADA. (like google maps, though an unofficial one is available. With time, most of the common favourites, should be available in BADA; Again, in all indications, Samsung seems all intent in making sure that BADA gets lots of support, and are unlikely to completely withdraw; considering that it is their best bet to make a splash in the feature phone market and make some cash along the way,via apps

)
