I need advice on behalf of a friend
He wishes to purchase a laptop for internet and movies and maybe for very casual gaming
what is the best configuration possible ?
what are his options?

The config shown is there is pretty good considering the pricepoint. And in general, ASUS makes good notebooks. And i wont say anything about the ASS of ASUS, it varies from area to area and person to person.

Its got the latest sandy bridge Pentium B940 ~ 2GHz, 2GB DDR3 RAM and 500GB HDD.

It even has a HDMI port and the keyboard is good. The build too is pretty decent. Overall a good deal for the price on offer.

But if cant afford a penny more than 20k then go for the Toshiba C660 or Asus X52F.
