hi,

can u pls suggest which headphones i should buy? i need it for gaming and music and maybe voice chatting. my budget is around Rs.1000/-

pls suggest which one i shud buy. altec lansing ahs 502, sony xd100, philips hp805.
rashi is offering altec at 850/-.
shud i go for it.

also suggest any other not in the list and also the price.

i liked the sony xd100 over the philips.
both the above mentioned models are better than the alteclansing.
 
My friend got Altec's a couple of months ago... though i dont remember the exact model number. They have very good sound quality and decent build quality as well... go for them... good vfm

Also enquire at Lemington Road as I found Rashi Quote more to protect Dealers interest and it's natural, I have no bad feelings:clap:
 
i bought philips shp805 6 days back at lammy for 1100 with 1 year warranty .
First impressions:
Very very comfortable.So even hours of music wont hurt ur ears,cant say that abt altec 502i.
Its good for music and movies better than the altec one.
Sound is clear enough and frequency response is also great.
Only that philips doesnt have a mic in it and altec has.
But u can go for a stand-alone mic that costs abt 150/-.
I did the same thing.

what about games? is philips good on the gaming side. i just saw philips 805 yesterday. looks good. what about iball vibrance891mv?
 
even i was thinking of getting a good headset....so philips is out since it has no mic built with it...

i may go for altec model..
 
hey chaos,
is the philips 805 good for gaming? is the price diff of rs. 400 between altec and philips justified by the sound quality. or it is fine to go for altec lansing for rs 850?
