I have been looking for 1TB portable drive , already have 1 Seagate 500GB i see the Freeagent 2 TB only cost 500 more.Does it requires additional power ?

both are goflex ultra portable.

and it is the best you can buy

goflex is the world's most upgradable external hdd.

so go for it..
