Well, in all fairness there is nothing stopping the women from raping the men back.

True, but they don't have access to money (and in-turn can't buy weapons), are denied jobs, and lack the physical strength to fight back their male owners.

I dont get it ?

aren't this Afghan types supposed to be real hard core & stuff, you know, kicked the brits, ruskies & possibly soon to be yanks out of their country.

Yet they are deadly frightened of their women :O

So afghan women are the most deady in the world then ?

On a more serious note I don't understand why/how the family law for different religions are separated in India. Seems like an unnecessary complication. But then again I have no understanding of law works. Maybe someone here can elaborate.

Different religions have different beliefs and practices, which unless not illegal, must/can/should be tolerated..hence multiple laws..
SEcondly, gives more scope for tax planning:ohyeah:

Care to give some examples ?

:)

Hindu joint family something law etc, if your firm is registered as a hindu joint family... you can divide the income between your maternal grand-mother, your grand mother etc... till your income tax liability becomes zero...

Why do you think Gujju's and Marwaris thrived in small businesses in the 70-90's period... The poor professional was taxed on his peanuts, while these guys were minting money, and paying negligible tax...

^^ But in a national context, is that even fair?

And if its just religion isn't it possible to exploit and twist them easily? Tried going through some of the legal sites but this area is obviously too vast to comprehend so easily.

But what about strength in numbers? :P Especially when there is 4 of them to the 1 guy.

nice example :)

Does not even require the whole family to reside together.

Just work, which is bearable.

Any others ?
