After initially rejecting it, Apple has approved the first PC emulator for iOS

Quote from GitHub:

UTM SE ("slow edition") uses a threaded interpreter which performs better than a traditional interpreter but still slower than JIT. This technique is similar to what iSH does for dynamic execution. As a result, UTM SE does not require jailbreaking or any JIT workarounds and can be sideloaded as a regular app.

How incredibly gracious of them to let you run some code on your own device. Truly groundbreaking thought leadership.
Nothing gracious, their hand has been forced by EU regulations and they realised that third party stores with emulators might actually convince EU users to sideload and they just pre-empted that. Still doesn't support JIT compilation though, so emulation is limited to to older devices.
lol imagine depending on a company to "approve" shit to run on a machine I purchased....
That is what happens on all game consoles, so not a revolutionary idea. Also, it was not Apple but Google that lost the case against Epic for its Play Store monopoly.

Even with closed source and nature full of restrictions, going against the odds they still reached the top.

Now whatever their reasons were for the restrictions, these actually helped the competitors to stand against apple by offering things which were simply not allowed on iOS.

Now due to EU apple is opening all the flood gates. This is even more disturbing for the competitors, leaving them with less things to offer.

LOL what does that mean? Seriously what mental gymnastics people will do to believe in a company..

Richest thugs get away with murder means that they aren't thugs?

The day they are forced to play on a level field it will be the beginning of end for them...anyways it's just the us that's still fooled by apple tax and ofcourse other countries citizens those who worship us blindly... Other countries they are just a minor player anyways

As long as majority of their customers are happy the company will thrive. A company/business is nothing without it's customers and customers can be fooled once or twice but not over and over again to make a 3.5 trillion dollar company.

Only businesses with credibility survive in the long run.
