“Age of Empires III†Expands Into the Eastern World This Fall​

"Age of Empires® III" is heading east. Microsoft Game Studios, Ensemble Studios and Big Huge Games Inc. today unveiled the first details about "Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties," the second expansion pack for the top-selling "Age of Empires III" that arrives on Microsoft® Windows® XP- and Windows Vista™-based PCs this fall. The expansion pack will introduce gamers to Asian civilizations, a host of new gameplay features, and a new developer that will provide a unique spin to a classic favorite.
Players will experience firsthand the rich and historical influences of Asia while commanding their units and expanding their empire in the Eastern world. The latest expansion pack will be the first "Age of Empires" title developed by Big Huge Games, the development studio responsible for the incredibly popular real-time strategy franchise "Rise of Nations®."

I know its a bit late .. Aoe 3 : AD has been released played it .. Liked it but not much impressive .. .Will be getting Full version soon ;)

well this has been out for a while ... anyway it's nice to finally hear the soldiers say 'mein jaaonga aur mein karoonga' in hindi :P

I havent played AOE after Conquerors and that too multiplayer..used to be sharp.

What do u guys suggest..should directly start Asian Dynasties..or its precursor..?
 
for some reason i always like the AOE : Conquerors character graphics.. these funny scaled images of the AOE3 i just cant digest.
 
Completed Asian Dynasties around a week back.. loved d Japanese and Indian campaign...

Drivin East India Company out!!! :)

Small game tho... Completed in a day... :(

Hope they come up with somethin new...

Yeah hindi dialogue big time.. heh he.. In addition to tat.. all these like "Yudh karne ke liye"... " Shikari" n all...

Start of with Asian Dynasties; U wudn miss out on anythin..

Only the Warchiefs has a story continuation from the first...
 
^^^Ya I dun think there'd be any problem... Jus keep the shader level at medium... 8800GT shud well... :)
 
I can't wait to get this. I'm surprised They didn't add Korea instead of India like Aok.

I play AOEIII on my 6800GS at 1440*900 with all settings maxed except shadows at medium and I get good frame rates unless until battle really picks up and in those cases, it doesn't matter what graphical settings I put it at.

Woot! Also, post 1500!

The Korean cmapaign wud've made the entire thing monotonous...

Ther's japanese followed by chinese which're more or less the same except fer some units and tech differences....

Maybe you're right. They're a lot crazier about RTS's though. From a marketing perspective, would've made more sense to put them in instead. Or perhaps India is emerging as an even larger gaming hub?

finished the part 1 in less than 6 days ..part 2 took some time cause exams were On :P
