Finally after waiting for so many days for official PSP Slim, i got it from Sony World in Chennai. Thanks to @Saiyan for dropping me in Sony World. Total shopping list:

-> Sony PSP Slim

-> 2GB Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo (+ Free leather photo album)

-> Logitech PSP Playgear Case

-> USB Cable for connecting PSP to PC @ they shd have bundled it with the PSP)

-> PSP Screen Guard
