Air Conditioner works in power cut?

I want to buy an AC for my room. I want to know whether there is any AC that runs in power cut with its inbuild inverter system. Or are there any AC that run from our home inverters. And what should I look in an AC before buying. Please help me. Thanks in advance.
 
Inverter is just the concept of converting DC to AC. Inverter ACs don't have backup power to run during a power cut.
