airtel 1 mbps

i just got a call from one of the airtel people , offering me 1 mbps unlimited for 1699/- plus taxes and rs.100/- free talktime on the landline , i did not take up on his offer and he said it is a one day deal ...
I am sure its not a one day deal but any of you guys heard about this?

when did they bring the prices down from 2222 to 1699
 
sometimes Airtel do offer special price.. you should go for it....
I had also special package from Airtel in Agra...
 
1699 for 1mbps unlimited? Or with a data cap? If unltd, then Airtel surely must reduce the price of 512kbps unltd plan.

EDIT: Nevermind, found out YOU isn't in delhi.

I hope this firm ventures into delhi as well, presently the best vfm plan one can find here is MTNL 512 UL for 1399.

512up + 512down + 500calls free
 
^^ It won't be put up on the site. Its a special offer that they sometimes provide to select customers. If you get the call, take it.
 
I too got a call from Airtel today. I was told that this plan is not available officially and only to select customers. I have taken this offer.
