Airtel 16 mbps connection giving just 10-20kbps on utorrent.

hi

i am facing a difficult one here, i was on airtel 2mbps plan it gave me 180 - 210 kbps downloading speed on my current xp sp3 - utorrent regularly. now i upgraded to 16mbps plan. this plan is giving me just 10-20 kbps downloading speed. whereas i download anything else from sites like intel, filehippo i am getting 1.6mbps downloading. i tried force encryption option on utorrent, but of no help.

i checked my speed several times on speedtest.net it's 13 -14.5 mbps.

i am verymuch i trouble that what to do.


one more thing yesterday night at around 1030pm my torrent speed rose to good levels for abt 10 mins. (600kbps - 1.5 mbps) but this happened for just 10 mins only. i didn't touched anything.


plz get me out of this mess.

Is this happening for all torrents ? There might be an issue with the seeders for your torrent.

i have got the first five most seeders torrents from the movie section to test this. but speed is coming same super slow.

use something like zbigz .. way better .. no headache of seeders n leech's

This test result showed nothing bad abt isp. but in its detailed results showed upload of 600 - 680kbps upload (yes upload) and 80 - 89kbps download more than nine times. can someone samjha sakte hai thi to me.

yup i tried zbigz , it's good, but to get a premium account, it's not accepting mobile money.

paypal bro . best and easiest !! just add ur debit or credit card. i use it .. its insane speed .. and no issues of seeds and leech's also

You on a router. Are the ports forwarded.

i think its more of port forwarding issue, if you are using a router kindly check UPNP is enabled and check SpeedGuide in utorrent which checks if ports are forwarded properly or not.

Port forwarding most probably or use clients like Tixati -- way better than anything I have seen till now.

i on a modem. ports r not forwarded. but when i use the same modem on my bsnl account with the same torrents, it gives me around 200 kbps on my 2mbps account.
