Airtel 1Mbps VS MTNL 2Mbps

Dude, youtube non HD videos need 1-2Mbps for smooth running. HD probably needs 4 Mbps or more for perfect running.
 
stick with Airtel since u have a trouble free access to broadband. if u can afford it is better u upgrade ur Airtel plan and not experiment upon urself by taking the MTNL broadband..however improved their services might be.

Problem with Airtel

2 Mbps for 1699 from June end

But

FUP for 2Mbps is around 5-10 GB

After 100 GB, the speed is just 512 Kbps

However with MTNL I will get 2 Mbps throughout

2 doubts

1. Will MTNL have zero downtime?

2. Will Airtel provide 2 Mbps @ 1699 with FUP 100 gb and 1 Mbps afterwards by June end?

There is nothing called 'zero downtime'. As you may know computers do crash . Whatever provider you choose, no one gurantee 100% uptime
 
never heard of 10 gb FUP with airtel 2 Mbps ..hell i constantly used to cross 100 gb and there was till no FUP
 
The 2 Mbps plan which will come for 2 Mbps will have an FUP of 5-10 GB for 2 Mbps, 1 Mbps till 100 GB and 512 Kbps afterwards.

At least, that is what the rumors speak.

first read my post completely.

I am airtel dth user so I get 1mbps all time without any fup on my siwft 1099 plan. :ohyeah:

FUP is crap.When I called airtel cc they told me that after 20gb my speed will reduce to 256kbps.But it never did even after downloading 100GB+ data every month.

Same Here.I think fup is only to scare people so they download less.They have not implemented it really.
 
Will I be able to get 2 Mbps onwards of July by spending 1699 + taxes per month such that I get at least 1 Mbps even after downloading 200+ GB?

If I stick to Airtel, that is???
