Airtel 2mbps for 2499 with free Wifi Modem

I guy called me to upgrade another airtel phone to some 1000 (around) plan which would give me 386kbps in day and 1 mbps in nite unlimited!

I asked if there was any offer for my current line which has 1mbps plan @ Rs. 2222 a month. He said he will call back.

He did in 2 mins with good news :hap2: 2mbps @ 2499, with 300mins of free call and lower calling rates. Plus a free Wifi modem.

How cool is that :D

The call was from Bhopal! maybe u guys can try calling it :P 07554048621.

That's a sweet deal !
 
Its their call centre there i guess! he told me that, the offers are only on a few lines across India! and each line has a perticular plan only! I had only 1 offer of 2499! and no fair use policy!

unlimited re :P wats the use going from a 1mbps unlimited to a 2mbps capped :P
on my other line, which only has a basic internet!(time based) there was an offer of 1699 for 1mbps unlimited! but not for my primary line!
 
I cannot believe it does not have FUP... He must be lying.... Many times these direct sales people promise one thing on companies behalf which turns out false later... Unless you get a mail from wecare you cannot be sure.... Tell him to contact you on mail with plan details & other conditions of promotion...

You better get that confirmed and not take the "sales" guy's word for it.
AFAIK, Only the 256Kbps plan is unaffected by the FUP.

My current 1mbps plan does not have any limitations. Last month my data trasnfer was about 140GB. Speed did not reduce! it was 70% uploads but still! There was no capping :hap2:
