Why don't you shift to unlimited, and be free of all this hassle ;)

If its too much then go for the 128kbs unlimited.

They are much more reliable than others so you can be sure of getting the best from them.
 
@checksum: I was having problems with my previous ISP (Broadllyne) my package with them is due to expire on 14th of this month. The reason I dropped the connection was 'request timed out' every other night. I was downloading a large file. I still have to download about 3gb. Hence, I wanted to download it as quick as possible. Since, I had problems with my previous connection I didn't know that the torrent was dying with peers reducing everyday or I would have gone for 512 plan for a month then switched to 256 next month.
 
Hey guies plz answer quickly. What is TRAI protocol for download? Is time of download start from time of log on. For e.g.

In the above I have metioned of 8.53 showed 1.8GB download, the agent said that since I have logged on before 9pm so whatever I download it will counted even after 9pm ( My night plan unlimited starts from 9pm-8am), untill I have logged off and started. He said that it is not there rule but the as per instructions of TRAI. As I asked him to show me the instructions he altered and said that he don't have the rules with him now and his internet was not working. Am I a fool men !!! :mad: . Now is there any rule such type I have searched but not found any.

By his talk if logged on after 9pm then I start a download and continue after 8am next day I should not be charged then as I have started after 9pm.

Is this a way to make bill? Kudos that sucks!!!!! :mad:

Anyway I not going to pay him a single peny unless they give a complete waiver for it.
 
At the Last, Got my connection fixed. ;)
I guessed it right they wanted to shift me to their new plan. All this billing were pretty show business :mad: ,

Man! I paid only Rs 1800 for two month instead of all those that they asked me to pay. They waived all that and I was shifted to 799 plan 24 hrs unlimited 256kbps. Thats the first good things that have gone right this year :eek:hyeah:
 
I am airtel customer for more than 2 years but this month i have been charged for night usage also from 13th of this month each day its more than 2000 rupees. now my this month usage bill so far has reached to 18000rs. when i called them they said if u are in the Night Unlimited plan you will not be charged. asked me to wait till i receive my bill for clarification.
 
^^ As far as I remember they withdrew night UNLIMITED plans loooooong ago.. how come u were still using night unlimited ? Probably airtel woke up for you now and charged u for all the free usage u were using LOL !

Yes mate its true.You get a landline free( no rentals).I use Airtel BB

In chennai the plan is still there for old customers. My friends are also in same plan
