Because at best a customer is entitled to support to get his issues resolved, not to toll free calls. Just because some companies provided toll free calls to their customer care numbers does not mean the customer is entitled to toll free calls as part of customer care. Its perfectly alright for them to charge for the calls and its also alright for them to charge those calls at full price as well.iamddevil said:If the problems at their end, and the inconvenience at yours, then how is it alright for them to charge a user for pointing out their error to them?
yeah true ! I listened to couple of CC conversation tapes. Total retards call up the cc and tell them to put them on conference with their gf's, IDIOTS !Supra said:^^ It was started because of all the misuse . You know all those retards trying to talk and sometime even tease with the CC chicks
Sandy said:I think its been this way for a while now. Even Vodafone charges me for calls to their CC.
I dont care about the call costs as long as they fix my problems within a few hours.
no it wasn'ttechno_guy said:This was started long back in Dec or Jan
brickhouse said:didn't you read landline and broadband
no it wasn't
Sandy said:Actually I didnt read. I rub my large buttom on the screen and assume things
Back in Jan this year I was charged when I called CC for my airtel broadband.
^^ and nobody eats ur balance like a beggar , think of where u call uselessly rather than saying that the mobile companies eat like a beggar , all companies have almost similar rates these days , thats the need of the competition , to stay in the market ,techno_guy said:yes I was charged for calling cc for mobile
but later i had changed it in feb as Airtel starting eating my balance like a beggar
So CC should just hang up. Losers who wanna hit on CC chicks would still do it and pay for it. I don't think that is a valid ground for charging CC services from genuine users.Supra said:^^ It was started because of all the misuse . IT MUST HAVE THEN CAUSE I HAVEN'T had any cost charged here in mumbaiSandy said:Actually I didnt read. I rub my large buttom on the screen and assume things

MohitPreet said:before the call is connected to the customer care the IVR says " this call is chargeable @ 50p/3miin, press 1 to continue" , so they inform u before calling and its not that they deduct balance without ur knowledge

the fares are almost same , so u cant say this operator loots or as such , if u not happy , why dont u change ur no and move to ur desired operator

they r also cheaper than other operators:
like airtel prepaid daily plan is for Rs 5
vodafone daily plan is Rs 4 - as seen in the parrot ad
docomo daily plan is just Rs 2
