Airtel New plan...

Some news, I noticed my upload rate increased today to 56kb/sec and it's been that way for the last 3 or 4 hours ;) Not sure what's going on, but download rate is a constant 30kb/sec, which is what it's always been.
 
maybe this thing is valid only in some places......

But then Rio said that he knows someone getting double speeds in Bangalore....

Damn!!! How I wish I was among the lucky ones :D

@rio ---- Similar thing happened to me too.... Suddenly, my download speed went up to 45kBps!!! then went down to usual 24-26....
 
I wish my download speeds increased but since I'm doing large uploads today, the increased upload rate is coming in handy ;)
 
at times my download speed used to go like hell...heres' a screenshot from other thread...so i now think . .. . . .i was a lucky one....;)

& this was my 128 kbps connection...which was supposed to be 256 kbps during night...:D

Same as mine! I too get 25kB avg all the time except at night 11-6, which is mere 7 hours. So i don't think it makes much of a difference unless you're a heavy downloader. One doesn't surf internet usually at those times.
 
One of my friends JUST got his Internet conn.... Airtel i.e

And the guy who had come to install tested his speed and he was getting 512kbps!!! The guy said that it could be some sort of error and he said it will be rectified in day or two.
 
Any one knows whether this Double speed at night is available in chandigarh or not? I am on the Airtel 256kbps unlimited plan and I am not getting double speed. Would gladly pay 49/- extra for 512kbps at night if there is such an offer. .
