There are plenty of other more harmful things for them to get addicted to. The only thing porn does in contrast is probably lessen the rampart rapes in a country a wee bit.
In any case, this sort of illegal censorship is pointless at best. They blocked some 800 odd sites they know about with the help of a court order, but porn itself still not illegal in the county. So, all that those operators need to do is to just setup alias domains which based on reports may sites have already done. They don't even need any sophisticated methods to unblock in India. Who knows when they will move to block those.
Illegal censorship is often not hard to circumvent as they are usually half-assed measures. Though in a different area, we are also often subject to illegal censorship in countries like Russia where they often use censorship as a pressure tactic against European or american businesses and unlike in India, the news of blocking is not even made public. We have a well oiled system in place to constantly check and detect and circumvent such illegal blocking. We can circumvent and go back to business as usual within 20 min of blocking. Our circumvention is not illegal since its their blocking itself is not legal

Probably Jadeja's wife had something to say about it.
I am not able to load most of normal the sites like gmail,google,youtube etc via tethering when using airtel. The sites load when using a proxy or vpn. Same issue in windows/linux. If I switch to jio via tethering, all these sites work without proxy/vpn. Anybody else facing this issue?
