Airtel router LAN DHCP greyed out ?

I just started a adguard home instance for another home and thought I'll switch DNS for all devices at the router. The router is a Airtel provided router. I do remember playing around with this router to set a 192.168.3.xx lan network but when I tried to access the dhcp settings, they were all grayed out.

I've already tried
- restarting the router
- deleting static ip allocations

Looking for any ideas..
 
It's a shame they often limit functionality like that. For your AdGuard Home setup, if you can't change the router's DNS, perhaps setting up a custom DHCP server on a Raspberry Pi or another device on your network could be an alternative. It's more work, but gives you full control.

Is it disabled for you too ?

As I said, I do remember changing this before
 
Routers are locked down by airtel, especially newer ones now even more so.
Basic settings such as DHCP configuration too is locked down.

However it's possible to get them to enable bridge mode and use your own router to do the PPPoE dial-up (in case of line fiber)
and in case of AirFiber you can just switch to any other router of your choice and use DHCP for WAN settings.
 
Airtel has tried to limit more changes to its NOC team, who are a bunch of a**holes, this being the most polite of terms, for what they are.

Plus their technicians are as good as L1 sadak chap who only know to run by a script.

They decided they would not let Jio have more locked down devices - they wanted to be more idiotic.

Raise an SR to change the LAN IP range is what they asked, I said I will live with double NAT.
