200gigs is wayyyyyyyy more than enough for even someone that regularly downloads HD for that matter.
Ideal would be a plan for say 2k @ 2mbps with a 200Gig limit :hap2:
Or, for that matter a plan for 2k @ 10mbps with a 100gig limit. Would have jumped at one if it were to be available.

they were great men but their predications went horribly. because people have different needs and accorodly use different amount of bandwidths.so it would be foolish to make a assumption.lets not assume anything
Today we are in age of bandwidth hungry applications such as high-definition content , high-speed internet access, video on demand, IPTV, online gaming, distance learning etc. all these applications demand tons of bandwidth.

Given the current state of bw hungry applications (as you call them), 200gigs is going to be enough for anyone, unless all you do is download a bazillion HD movies a month and never watch them.

the point of my post was to make it known that even 200GB is more than enough for downloads as well utilizing the fast speeds to their full potential. I agree with Mr. Stalker about that. I am more than happy withy 250GB mnthly cap.
while i agree with saumil that 200GB is more than enough (i have a 2mbit plan with 100GB FUP and i don't even come close), the pricing of the plan might not be so bad if you're reduced to half the speed (25mbps) after hitting the FUP.

All of them or some.
Those unaware would think ALL of them have FUPs because its the norm here.
FUP on my plan for 386kbs is 75GB, thats for rs.999/monthstalker said:

Whether the quota is enough or not is irrelevant, its inconsistant with other plans.

The other point i did not get in your post is how does one objectively say how much is enough ?
Why is 200GB enough and not 100GB or 300GB
Enough for me has always boiled down to the individual.
If you ask me, it is not such an idiotic plan after all. We have SAP in our office which we use over CheckPoint VPN. The traffic is not huge but speed is of utmost importance. We are using the Velocity 4999 (16Mbps, 100GB) Plan as of now. Will change to this whenever it launches here.d@rK nEmEsIs said:

If they offer 50mbs at 2k, many many customers will take it...but their network will be clogged!

Not necessarily . A guy with a 2 mbps connection downloading a 700 mb file will keep utilizing 2 mbps from the network for an hour while a guy downloading 700 mb at 50 mbps would utilize 50 mbps of bandwidth but ONLY for 2 minutes and since the plan isnt unlimited people wont be downloading 24*7 .
