Airtel users who are looking to disconnect

Well, its the time when something needs to be done..
If this continues i am going to disconnect Airtel next month. However i am looking to send the owner and the North zone country manager a good long mail with names of the people who are interested in removing airtel because of this screw up that airtel has done....

So those interested kindly Pm me your Full name and Airtel phone no. so that i can include your name and no. in the mail.

I just hope they don't start this c$ap in the South too, I am perfectly happy with their service so far....

Vaise it seems like this mess is going to continue (obscenely expensive high speed unlimited lines) till VSNL drops it pipe charges for ISPs or other players enter into the Internet backbone fray
 
my speeds here in chennai are still the same but of late, i've been having frequent modem reboots :@ very irritating when you get kicked out of a cs clan match to have your connection come back immediately after but somebody's already taken your spot.
 
I too would like to disconnect, but sadly i don't have any other option :( it has started acting up lately in chennai too :@

MTNL - Night Unlimited 749
SpectraNet - 599 Unlimited 128 Kbps
 
Alright i got two more calls from Airtel, they are infact justifying their actions by saying that I download over 10gb a month, it is actually worth around Rs.10,000 considering they usually charge Re.1/mb for limited plans.

Ridiculous.

I feel so cheated... To think that I had referred 7-8 ppl for this crappy ISP.
 
^if you're on an unlimited line, there's no way they should be able to pull that off with you. you've paid for what you asked for and your downloads have nothing to do with it. screaming at them / threatening to disconnect hasn't worked?
