Airtel Will Upscale All Channels To 1080i

Hope the Quality increases...

I upgraded to HD set top box only to find 2 HD channels and SD Channels look Just fine on my 47"..

Btw i mentioned that i am satisfied and that means that from my perspective the PQ is good and may not be the same with others. Also i cannot compare the PQ with tata sky HD channels but for our daily viewing it is very good.

Well I am really really surprised. During my purchase, when I was doing the study, for inspections sake we had carried an hdmi laptop that had hdmi and standard coaxial output. None of the TV's (Samsung, Sony, LG, Panasonic) could do well upscaling of SD, it just appeared crap as compared to the actual FHD signal. Hence I didn't leave a place for anything other than HDMI in my wiring.

In fact on my Tata Sky HD+, I seldom watch SD content, my eyes just don't approve the SD content.

Nevertheless, you are happy, that's what matters.
 
^^When compared to FHD the quality is obviously is inferior but for the day to day TV watching it is very much acceptable and very good infact and yes as you say that is what really matters :)
