iPod touch does not have any of these.

From purely PMP point of view, this is much superior to iPod touch.

The main drawback is "No warranty available except for US and canada)

and lack of applications.

Touch is too popular so its accessories are available locally.

I still remember when I wanted a reolacement sync cable for zune 30Gb.

Paid 30$ to get it delivered to my place.

^That is weird. If anything, price should be lower since Amazon is now selling for $217 instead of 228 when I bought it.

But maybe you get octroi levied in Mumbai?

I have similar experience with ICC world. I have my own mail forwarding subscription, but to see if ICC world turnes out to be cheaper, I asked for quote for a camera worth $290-300. Got ridiculous quote of 23k odd. I can import it myself way cheaper than that using my mail forwarding service :p

I dont know if its because of me being in Mumbai, but their duty itself was at 5.5-6k odd :S which is silly even if you calculate by proper customs rate.
