CPU/Mobo AM4 bracket + backplate replacement.

Hello,

I have an old Zen2 build with Corsair H100i AIO installed. The build wasn't in use as I couldn't carry it with me when I relocated. After an year or so it looks like the coolant froze and it's unable to maintain operating temps anymore. I have considered going back to stock cooler but to my surprise I have misplaced both the backplate and the mounting bracket that came with my x370 motherboard. I've looked on amazon but they require a couple of weeks to deliver (guessing it's shipped from overseas) and customs delays might add to it.

1. How difficult is it to replace the coolant in the AIO considering it's a closed loop without a drain valve. Anyone with personal experience or a guide on how to go about it?

2. I was wondering if I could get recommendations for a reliable retailer that I could source the backplate and mounting brackets from? preferably seller based within India

It is possible but just a painstakingly long process and you do run into the risk of damaging the pump, but if you don't really care if you damage it you are free to try and do it there are a few videos on YouTube demonstrating how to refill an AIO and also some specific to the H100i.

True, just not worth the hassle, as many things can be generally made possible via modding (such as adding 20 GB of VRAM on an 8 GB card), so it falls into the "no" territory. That's why some AIO companies began incorporating a valve to refill the coolant.
