When is the official embargo going off.
lol exactly , i quoted as well and then realisedMan the way you phrased that I thought 5000 series just got launched and I had to scroll back to understand lol.
7600X is going to be a massive hit. Bloody thing competes with 12700Kwhy i feel zen4 doesn't provide value at this time... early adopter are mostly serve as lab-rat for bug fixing.
All these reviews hardly matter in real life real life scenario.

Its TDP is more limitedAs per the reviews, 5959 is more energy efficient than 7950.
That's not what I meant. Check the gamer Nexus review. Blender test took more power on 7950 with respect to work it did.Its TDP is more limited
Yeah, Lisa lied about the efficiency. Except for specific corner cases, out of the many reviews I read, efficiency didn't seem to be a strong point of AM5.That's not what I meant. Check the gamer Nexus review. Blender test took more power on 7950 with respect to work it did.
I am glad I waited, now waiting for the 13th gen.Yeah, Lisa lied about the efficiency. Except for specific corner cases, out of the many reviews I read, efficiency didn't seem to be a strong point of AM5.

I think that they had to push them well beyond their sweet spot, just like Intel has been doing over the past three or four generations. One of the YT videos (I guess Moores Law Is Dead or LevelOneTechs channel) IIRC mentioned that desktop variants of Zen4 are not efficient unless you run in eco mode. Zen4 will excel in laptop/datacenter variants.
Yeah, that was probably part of Zen 3.5 ( I mean the laptop processors 6000 series ). And yeah, people will have to learn new things : like 95 C, if heatsink is not installed properly lower performance is the main symptom, and sometimes overclock consumes less power than stockOne of the YT videos (I guess Moores Law Is Dead or LevelOneTechs channel) IIRC mentioned that desktop variants of Zen4 are not efficient unless you run in eco mode. True, but 12900K was an outlier in Alder Lake efficiency, other chips are much better. And millionaires who buy 12900K don't care. The disappointing stuff with AM5 is that relatively Aam Aadmi chips like 7600X are getting inefficient.Still, as far as I can interpret, they're better than 12900K in Efficiency,
