How much OT can there be in one thread?
Jeez! Has everyone made their 2 pennies worth of an opinion public today? I mean come on, first it's "Didn't you know the 15 day shipping clause?"
This coming from some of you, even when the OP has clearly mentioned that he requested the seller to make sure that it's delivered within a time frame specified by him. If he couldn't, he should have just said so. Then, just when another dealer comes in to help out, immediately a few of you have to turn it into a controversy of the century. "Oh, he's doing it because he wants more business"
So freakin what? At the very least he's doing something about it rather than go on and on endlessly and lace the thread with comments that don't serve any purpose. Then there are some that comment on his lack of being a gentleman. Who the hell are you guys to pass judgment about somebody's character especially when all he is trying to do is help? Do you know his motives? All you can do is guess, so don't stoop so low as to pass horrible comments on people that you don't even know. That's just childish.
Everyone here has a fair idea of what it is like to deal with Amarbir. Some of us have never had problems and some others have had only problems with him since the get go. So who are we to minimize the other person's experience? He can be childish sometimes, so what are you going to do about it? Go on and on and on about the same thing? How many lessons in behavior and morality is everyone going to dish out? You really think that's going to help? There is enough "documentation" here for every TE member to make an informed decision, about every dealer on the quality of their products, service and conduct. These are meant to be FYI threads for members who have a dispute with certain sellers, not for everyone to come in and muck it up with their position on the subject. This is something that the administrative staff of the site will deal with if it comes down to that.
I'm sure every dealer here has a few disgruntled customers. That's life. It has it's ups and it's downs. You can never expect things to always go the way you want it to. Shit happens. The OP and the Dealer have talked it out and they are in the process of sorting things out between themselves. So please let them do that and let's just put down the pitch forks and the torches and get back to talking about technology.
