The document has six (6) core components with price metrics, and written below them "S/N---", and the rest is blank. WHY WERE THEY BLANK. Please do not give me the logic, that you will do the RMA, so you left them blank...! I need not say more. You purposely did not enter the S/N numbers, that clearly states and defines your operating style.

What benefit is there to the supplier if S/N #s are missing ?

He can't deny they sold you the product, but the customer otoh hs no recourse but to go through him for a RMA.

Isn't this therefore more work for the supplier in the case you were willing to do the RMA yourself.

You can see that the fiio thing falling through seems to have been the catalyst here isn't it. Not getting it and then everything went downhill.

The OP has not said a word about the fiio so far. No mention of any promises or anything so it was with some surprise i got to read about it.

Such things dont come out of sudden, i'm sure it was mentioned some time during the deal and thats why the op demanded it, its so easy to come and say no one offered you a free fiio amp and you are made to look like a beggar, i'm sure even you wouldn't post after all the mud slinging this dealer has done..its one thing to not accept faults and another to be insulting and demeaning to a point that people think its better to shut up than keep fighting..

I'm sure its happened many times that reps promised somethin and the owner totally declined sayin its not possible and then even the rep declines to havin said that, happened to me twice and trust me its a very bad feeling...

The issue here is not whether he is a dealer or not.
The issue here is that op had an agonizing and nerve racking experience with lynx india.he paid the money got the product asap.
Let the op justify it since we have heard from amarbir' side.
Do we need yours and somebody elses experience to butress op's arguments?.

Even i have dealt with you As said even my bill ( 1TB WD HDD) doesn't have serial no .I know its not a must for serial no in India but now i am not in India and i just called WD to ask what is the RMA procedure if my HDD dies they are ready to provide support provided i have a bill showing serial no.I am here in NZ for the next 3 Years ,what do i do if it dies?? .Do not tell me to ship the product to India .My shipping charges will be high than the price on the HDD itself.

The problem is he not ready to accept his mistakes forget accepting let him listen to us and it will be fixed .He not ready to do either one of them.He is taking everything too personal.

There is no way for us to know Amarbir did offer the fiio, yes. This thought did cross my mind, but its a big gamble in case the OP showed up and said it was a lie isn't it.

Hey i know ur takin an unbiased view, problem is when people are unbiased, dealers like amarbir take the chance and start demanding proof for everythin! There's a reason why this guy has loads of threads against him while i fail to find a single one against other dealer in the recent past..

There's so many things wrong with him on so many levels that its now giving TE a bad name..thats the problem..

I am going to be really blatant and strait forward.

1. What one "number", can be traced to a sellers/dealers accounting books -- which holds liability to our taxation laws.

2. Without an S/N number, on the basis of a handwritten receipt document, can I accuse a dealer in a court of law...? When the hardware I have in my possession does not match what is on the invoice (read S/N number), which court of law will entertain me..?

Hey i know ur takin an unbiased view, problem is when people are unbiased, dealers like amarbir take the chance and start demanding proof for everythin! There's a reason why this guy has loads of threads against him while i fail to find a single one against other dealer in the recent past..

There's so many things wrong with him on so many levels that its now giving TE a bad name..thats the problem..

Serial Numbers On The Bill Has Nothing To Do With Warranty ,Do Not Rake Up A Issue On This Thread That Has Nothing To do With the Thread ,I Have Already Told everyone ,Its Not Mandatory to Write Serial numbers In Bills ,Who Has Told You this ,Have They Demanded Any Serial No ,You Show Them The Bills ,Secondly WDC I Sell In India Is Purchased From India,I Do Not even Have a Clue About International Warranty Mr Schoolteacher .
