One thing this device is really good for is streaming media from Spotify to any regular speaker. Streaming quality aside, this is the cheapest device which will let you convert a regular speaker to a Spotify streamer. You can control the music using voice (not recommended) or the Spotify app on your phone.

You can also stream using Gaana or Saavn, but there's no easy way to control the music. Since Spotify lets you connect the app to the streamer, it works really well.
