Consistent SSD 128GB (CTSSD128S6) Rs770 https://www.amazon.in/dp/B08W369FLH?ref_=cm_sw_r_apann_dp_0VBD9YPY1FHYRC1CQWQ8
It's not. I used EVM once before and it failed after a few months. EVM and Consistent have same sellers and distributors in the local market. Also, they are Chinese rebrands of no-name manufactures available only in India. Silicon Power is at least available outside of India, like in the US and Europe. Personally, one should stick to WD, Seagate, Crucial and Samsung for important tasks. If you want cheaper, the second tier is Adata, Kingston, SP and Patriot. Outside of these brands, you might get lucky once or twice, but I would not trust them too much.Consistent-CTSSD256S6-256GB-Replacement-Warranty
Title says 5 years. Is this a reputable brand? Never heard of it before.

They also sell older-generation motherboards for a lot less. Are those unreliable as well? One can get their H61 board with NVME for less than 2K and that too with 3 years of warranty.I know a vendor who was selling a lot of these consistent ssd's. Now they started failing a lot.
He doesn't recommend them.
It's all cheap no brand Chinese boards. Intel chipset salvaged from dead branded OEM motherboards and reballed it on generic boards. Warranty most probably will be fake and mentioned for the sake of it only. They also sell older-generation motherboards for a lot less. Are those unreliable as well? That's something new.Intel chipset salvaged from dead branded OEM motherboards and reballed it on generic boards.
What warranty ? Who provides it ? What is the RMA process ? Do you have first hand knowledge of such warranty ever working ? Did you go through the previous post ?If you had to, what would you put your money on? These cheap new motherboards with warranty
There's nothing to browse in this thread. Most deals expire in 2 days, so either you see it, or you don't. And where there are deals, the posts easily stand out with link/image.All these OT posts are making it hard to browse this thread and look for deals. It's like 1-2 deals hidden inside 15 OT posts.

I guess stopping with this unnecessary policing of every thread would keep the threads cleaner. These are the most OT posts of all.
