Anybody had experience with Amazon exchange offers with laptops?

I want to know what do they check for (how specific and in detail they go) and if anybody has been denied exchange if so for what reasons?
 
Seriously? Nobody used that option here? I suppose you guys like to sell stuff on used market for a better margin than exchange on amazon.
 
Ive exchanged a couple of laptops with both Amazon and Flipkart. In both cases, they just checked for any screen damage and the Model and serial number. Went smootlhly both times.
With phones though, they are usually way more particular and have sometimes even refused for minor dents on the body.

Bumping old thread - wondering if the experience is still the same or something different these days. Planning to exchange my old laptop with some keys not working
