Actually what I would like in India would be something like this.
  1. Have a set of devices (dash buttons) - as many as one wants.
  2. Once the dash button is clicked / pressed a mobile app is updated with the order.
Imagine a situation where I have 100 + dash buttons at my disposal. I would have 20 on the fridge. 40 in the kitchen. 10 in the bathroom. 10 in the living room (for batteries etc) so on and so forth. Each button would be mapped to a particular consumable item defined in the mobile app. Now my grocery / shopping list is ready.

I think this is something companies like bigbasket should think of implementing.

What do you guys think?

Totally Agree.

The next step is to make one dash button order multiple things.

Imagine one dash button can order 5 kg of Rice , 2 Kg of Dal etc etc...

I am debating whether I should get a prime membership or not. I don't really order a lot from amazon unless it is very cheap or shipping is not killing the deal.
Also I tend to compare the prices of the same item across multiple stores and even local walmart / Kroger / Aldi and see where I can get cheapest and amazon is actually not the cheapest.
In fact when it came to diapers, a 32 pack was 14.xx on amazon while $9 at walmart.
