AMD 850i ITX Build

SMC International are the only ones who stock this B850M Mortar

Is this the same company you are referring to in your post? Cause they are the only ones who have this particular Board in stock. Thats in all of India! Reddit guys are ordering it direct from China because not available to buy in the US.

Are SMC reliable and trustworthy?
Yes that's the vendor/shop I was talking about. I haven't ordered anything from them online but they are reliable. You should give them a call before placing order though, the product could be out of stock.

Last time I was at smc , I was actually looking at msi b650 itx, it was newly arrived (5 only) in india.
But i wasn't sure since I thought maybe another XYZ itx board will also come to India soon.. but there were none for so long.. only this msi.

I think situation will be better this time around because the tariff **** ups in the us.
Many companies are rerouting their shipments to other parts of the world due to being uncertainty in the us market.
This is the same reason i feel that we suddenly have way more GPU stock closer to msrp here in india.
Long may this continue

If you were to ask me, trying to build mini itx is not the best option

I know the appeal, but apple mac mini M4 just flipped the script for me.
You know, doing PhD level research for mini itx and milimeter compatibility check.. meanwhile there's new mac mini in the market, sitting quietly in the corner siping less than 10w, only for 50k.. that's like the cost of itx mobo + SFX psu + case

Mac Mini M4 is amazing value for money especially if you can get one on student discount. The only downside seems to be text scaling issues whilst connected to a 4K TV using HDMI 2.1 in native 2160p format.

Have you ever tried connecting yours to a TV?

Deepcool CH270 should be launching in the coming month.

it will fit all your components and it takes alot less space on the desk compared to the A3, I've actually seen the A3 and its quite big and nowhere near what a itx case is.

The only no compromise Itx case available in India is the A4 H2O but it's not cheap and you will have to buy components around it.

Thanks for the heads up will look into CH270.

Im currently using Fractal MATX Case which is hidden behind my TV cabinet. So what I'll do is just re-use this Case for the new build instead of wasting money on buying something which is just going to be a temporary fad thing

When I eventually get back to the UK, I'll transfer the MB to a proper ITX setup.
