PC Peripherals amd config

@Headshot: I think TechHead had put up a link to a thread comparing good/bad PSU's. L&C (the company that makes the powersafe PSU's) was put on their bad psu list surprisingly :D

P4 not worth it, may I ask you why you changed your mind. Seriously at this point of time Intel is not worth it. A few reasons :
1. It heats up a lot
2. Poor gaming performance.
3. Very few chipsets
4. Very few *good* mobos available
5. Expensive

Yea maan....P4 rite now?? a big No

tht rig guts here suggested is VFM....cmon u wont get better performance if u spend the same amount on a P4...

its difficult to make people understand that right now amd is better p.s looking for a good config for my cousin but his father is stuck on intel thats the reason

intel is beter for 3d aps and encoding normally etc , overal score thus may trun out higher if gaming is just as important as other things, but thing is gaming requires power and others too mcuh may not be used

for 3d apps, take intel 3.2ghz may ytunr better than amd 3500

Isnt a game a 3d Application. Infact Intel only advantage Video encoding has also been taken over by AMD. And yes a 3500 + will outperform a 3.2ghz Intel in any apps whatsoever infact with the Venice core SSE3 support is also present now.

If u want a Pentium 4 sure-->
Intel Pentium 4 3.2 ghz
Gigabyte GA 81915 G-Duo- 6000/MSI 915G Neo2 Platinum-9000
512*2 Hynix d43 ram -5000
120gb hard disk seagate -3750
Leadtek/Xfx geforce 6600gt -11200
and the rest as usual

or if u go 4 amd the setup u gave in the beginning is gud enuf

xfx for 10.5-11k
