iGo is right. Most probably is your PSU. Same happned to me when my PSU fried the power-pins of my mobo and now I have to short-circuit using reset pinsiGo said:I had 3 HDDs dying on me, I was able to recover data only from one of it. I've never used AMD in my life, this was all on Intel platform. But you won't hear me crying foul on Intel... how can you relate HDD dying on AMD/Intel or for that matter processor?
There could be various reasons, you got bad HDD or your PSU was crappy or your HDD cables were faulty or anything.... but how the heck processor kills your HDD?
Overall by your comments I think, whoever you bought it from must have provided you with old stock. Your mobo ran hot, you blame CPU. Your HDD died, you blame CPU. what next? Your monitor started giving problem, you blame CPU?
