But getting past 4Ghz on air is a tough job. I thibnk it can hit better clocks with more efficient coolers like IFX14 which is much better than Ultra 120 Extreme or Megahalems. Or a good watercooling kit for sub 10k if one want to stick with PII and get max out of it.

I saw someone get 4.4GHz on the 955 on air, so the 965 can get 4.7GHz.

thats awesome. come to think about it no body thought how much overclocking potential the Phenom had. AMD took phenom to 45nm and unlocked its awesomeness.
