Graphic Cards AMD with ATI or Nvidia

I am going to upgrade my gaming rig....i am using AMD and will be using AMD.....i need suggestion for GPU i.e is it good using AMD with ati or AMD with nvidia(i don't want people who are using ati will say ati and people who are using nvidia will say nvidia :no: please......
I need a good suggestion......

SUGGEST AS A GAMING RIG
 
Anyone will do. Processor don't restricts to any particular vga for now :P

Get whatever suits your budget , just make sure you have one PCIE 2.0 slot in the motherboard )

i do have PCIE 2.0 slot on my motherboard.....my budget is 15k,i want 2 say
that some people say nvidia is optimized for games ya its true,but what about that physx issue,will this issue be cleared by ati in future any new technology
something like havok,will it solve this issue:huh:

how many games do you see with physx support??? and how many with havok???? Both technologies have a small base(actually decent base, but most of them never hit bigtime) of games and either you can ignore this fact and buy whatever suits yours budget or research on the games that support physx/havok and then decide which is more important.......

ya i no dx11 is coming on 10th sep and you said it depends upon your moniter,
its because of ati has ddr5 for greater resolution?
 
for that resolution u just need a 9800gt -->6.5k

or buy gts 250...if u really want something big..then buy gtx 260 (216core)-->11k

my resolution is 1680x1050 .....and i have 9800gt....i played crysis and warhead @ 1680x1050 resolution and @very high settings...
if u want to save ur money ,u buy a 9800gt for a 1440x900 monitor
 
Just go wid the current best gpu thats feasible in your budget, amd with ati gpu or nvidia gpu wont give you any performance difference.
 
U can wait anothe 15 days for DX 11 Gpu's.......though they wont be available immediately. But at least u can get to knw wht new generation GPUs are offering.

but what about this nvidia optimized:huh: is really nvida mean for gaming:huh:
 
nvidia is a nice option...gtx260 (216) is a gr8 card....

but wait for the reviews of dx11 cards....i hope the price of dx10 cards will come down after the release of dx11 cards..

No. It is is just a marketing statement. Both Nvidia and ATi make good cards. Choose which you like best. Havok and Physis is just have very few games.
