anchor vs havells

Well both comes at similar price range & have same kind of working life. I will suggest go 4 havells as in our company's construction projects only havells products are being used.

Anchor ROMA is cheap but a little outdated
the Legrand Mylinc range is certainly VFM, got it recently for my house.

by the way what discount are you getting? It should be around 55% on MRP on Anchor Roma & Legrand.

Well anchor quality ain't good compared to havells, the best quality is from legrand aka MDS,but priced higher.
Another vfm company is hager.

ABB is another alternative. Mostly used for industrial installations over home setups. Expensive than most other brands.

Legrand Mylinc is VFM with basic switches having an MRP of Rs.70. Considering a minimum 50% discount, it should cost you Rs.35. u can get the prices from the below link, these may not be the latest but will give u a fair idea.

price list

the real case many international companies made in India products are very inferior in terms of build quality & reliability. its a true case.eg: crabtree, Legrand,ABB,.But few products imported by them is a class product. We are installing these products for the last 5 years and thus made the conclusion.

In mcbs if you can get a hold MDS or Legrand LOADSTOP series ,it will be old stock if you find one,but will be better then their newer ones such as lexic series.
the older loadstop is heavier in size fit and finish is better then the current LEXIC,but are bit bigger in size.

Any problem with Legrand Mylinc that you faced...
