Android Android Home Screen Lagging

My Droid Ultra is giving me some problem from yesterday. If I am in an app and close it or press the home button, it takes a little time(half a second) to load the icons and widgets now. The wallpaper and the home button don't show any lag. The games work fine as well. Even heavy games like Injustice
I cleared cache partition but it didn't work.
Any idea?

it's called Launcher redraws. If there's an option in Launcher Options "Keep in memory" then better tick/enable it.
 
The default from Moto.
Everything was working properly 2 days ago. Uninstalled 2-3 apps including Clean Pal(similar to clean master)[DOUBLEPOST=1424530119][/DOUBLEPOST]
Seems to be working now. It was due to an option that I checked in Developer Options which was causing the lag. Unchecked it and it seems fine for now.
This is that option
"Don't Keep Activities" - Destroy every activity as soon as the user leaves it.
