I am on Airtel in Bangalore... I haven't had any issues with radio on 4.3

Read reports that this has been fixed in 4.4. Running the official ROM now. Smooth as a baby's bottom, especially with ART.

badly want to try ART but whatsapp is not supported hence sticking to Dalvik for now

It's not a Whatsapp issue so it probably won't be fixed until 4.4.1 or whatever. Could be a long way off. In the meantime, there's a workaround if you're interested - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2527879

I haven't tried it myself since I don't use Whatsapp but I hear it works.

The kernel version is 3.4.0
if not then how do i get ART?

Check devlopers option under settings. If devlopers option is not there then press the build number 7 times.

googled it got it. but Thanks. The app optimization is taking time

Do you have the lockscreen notifications lag bug on your devices with KitKat? For most people, the notifications bar stutters a lot when used from the lockscreen while completely smooth when pulled down after the device is unlocked. I may have found a workaround which I want to test on another device.

Switched back to Dalvik since WhatsApp is required
But did not notice any noticable diff in performance with ART.

It mostly helps during multitasking and opening of apps.

And I made the video using KitKat's screen recording feature.

Did you guys get the 4.4 OTA update for Nexus 4? I am getting tired of waiting and might sideload it.

I did not wait for the OTA for my cell was harassing me with the network bug in 4.3. So downloaded the factory image for 4.4 and installed it using fastboot.
Was as simple as 1,2,3. For a first timer like me also.
I received an additional OTA after installing 4.4. This I got on 22nd Nov.
Posting a screen shot.

4.4 is good on speed and battery life for sure. But the camera is as it is. Zero improvement there.

Got 4.2.2 for Nexus 4 OTA. But no details on what it include....
For Nexus 5 they say that the camera app is improved. Hope its same for Nexus 4.
