^^ Not really. Lack of volumes doesn't encourage grey mkt dealers to stock them. But this might change soon (hopefully ).

As I've said earlier, it's very difficult to find Sony lenses in India. The US is the only place for this.

i finally bought 1000D itself today.

costed me around 26,500 grey price with IS

Congrats !!! Now please buy the 50mm f1.8 and later on the 55-250 IS.

But as soon as you can get the 50mm f1.8 which costs 5k with 2 years canon warranty.

And above all please post some shots taken in the Photography section.
