hah haa I agree...:bleh: but have u seen the lanboy...?? POS crampy... the SLB is broad and even a high end rig will fit easy...plus it runs cool...

I'd suggest the SLK 3000B over the lanboy..ofcourse SLB is the best...
Maybe the TX1050B with transparent side panel is roomier but a heavy b****... I sold my P180 because of its weight...:P ...

Yep its the same one as for the Plusview model...:P the only bad news is Vinod is very fond of these...:P they cost around 3K each AFAIK...

anyways me waiting for Saiyan to give me the pricing of the cabbies ..Saiyan please try getting the price of the Transparent side panel of the 1050B and 1088AMG too ..thanks.

Also the P160 I really liked...their was a model with a transparent side panel... not sure of the name though..
the SLB is very spacious.. but a mini tower cannot compare to a full tower...who the hell is trying to compare those 2 (SLB & Plusview??? :tongue: )...

SLB is one of the best mini towers and better than a lot of Mid towers as well...:bleh:

Side panel for TX 1088AMG - 1400/-

Shipping 400 bucks extra. Above prices are inclusive of tax.

Waiting for Saiyan to give the prices of the other models.

Antec TX1088, TX1055 & Plus View 2 without PSU have the same specifications.

Plus View 2 has a Side Window.
TX1088 & TX1050 have a CPU Duct with a fan options instead of the window.

Sizes & Weight are same.

TX1088 & TX1050
Plus View 2

Why spend 4050+1400+400 on TX1050 & 4855+1400+400 on TX1088.

When you can Get Plus View 2 for 5477+400.

Ahh that quote was some 6 months old.. and was for the TX 1050B I'm sure it WAS 3K.
400 bucks is good enough... It'll be a good buy
Still suggest an SLB though... light and roomy
 
@ Mohit the SLB, Plusview Prices are the same as the ones mentioned in the website. As for the others it is same as he have quoted you.
 
Hey, i thought that Plusview II is nothing but TX1050 withoutn resp psu, with windowed side panel and Triled Tricool 120 instead of standard Tricool 120 case fan!!

I was supposed to get the TX1088AMG and that thing without psu, with window was much more expensive than Plusview!!
But Plusview was Black and i Didn't want Black, and then Thanks to TE, especially Funky's hard advice, realised that Antec was not Be all-End all, so no point in spending that much!!

So settled for 3700AMB for the time being!!

Initially wanted to pick up SLB immediately but backed out coz i read super MINI!! :rofl:
But thanks to Saiyan, switch and Funky and Appo, and last but not the least Deejay:ohyeah: , i have a SLB now!!
Though i would have liked it a bit more sturdier.:P
always believed bigger is better, But now i realise, pick whatever suits you!!
Now i realise Deejay was so right- The sonata and sonata II are very good!!
Only if they were a lil bit more affordable!!:no:

I would still say PlusviewII:hap2: - no issues with TtBT, Hyper6, etc or if you ever think of WC, coz its 1.0mm SECC and this is where this and the TX score- bulletproof, built to last- friggin heavy too!!
Very nice air filter- removable/washable, nice USB/IEEE/Audio ports cover!!
(i pefer the AMG1000 bezel though!!:P )
Also 3 x5.25 bays clear mobo, 4th just slightly below mobo top so no probs there!!
But HDD slightly protrude into mobo area, esp if u use HDD fan!!

SLB/Sonata/sonataII - good for desktop use, good ventilation and benefit from transverse HDD bays leaving mobo area, esp to its right, clutter free!!
But wouldn't like to see more than one or max 2- 5.25 bays used, or more than 2 HDDs!!

As i said before, people who spoke to me know how big a bore I am and i mentioned that before.:ashamed:
so tried to keep it as short as possible.:P
Just my thoughts, as I have a 3700AMB, SLB and AMG1000 as of now!!:cool2:
 
thanks saiyan for the prices .. and thanks all of u for ur suggestions .. me just trying to sell off all my old stuff so that i can make my budget a bit more flexible :d .. will buy the plusview II mostly.
