PC Peripherals Antec SLK3700BQE Vs VIP ZB01 Server Cabby

Got the rates for Antec & VIP

Antec 3700BQE without PSU i am getting it for Rs3000 + 4%
VIP ZB01 without PSU for 4.5K

Guys all i wanted to know is VIP ZB01 having a Mobo Tray coz if it has a Mobo Tray
i am staight away thinking of ZB01 , weight is no problem.

Also VIP is larger than Antec comes with 2 x 120mm fans and has space for 2 side 80mm fans

NO mobo tray on VIP afaik.. and 4.5k is way too expensive.. Like I had suggested b4 and as suggested by Chaos, Funky's WaveMaster is a much better deal imo..
 
but having a mobo tray also means that u need to push less air to maintain a smooth airflow so slower speed fans will suffice.. slower speed 80mm fans mean lesss noise.. :P

not so.. the fans on the wavemaster are very quiet and have decent airflow. otherwise get the coolermaster temp controlled fans for 300 odd. those are almost inaudible .
 
Well the Antec 3700BQE at 3K looks a gr8 deal.
But will be rethinking on wavemaster as it has mobo tray.

Also is wavemaster as roomier as antec and vip also does it have space to connect
4optical drive , 2 floppy drives , 5 HDD's
 
the wavemaster is all about looks and good buid quality. the optical drives are a pain in the rear to install and you can have 4 optical 4 hdd and one floppy.

the bqe looks ordinary, steel! , no mobo tray but probably is more roomy with provision for 120mm fans and drive rails.

4 optical, 4 hdd, 1 floppy officially. But u can cram in another hard drive without issues. All mid towers are the same. Why would u need 4 optical and 2 floppies(of all things :P) is beyond my comprehension :S. Its much roomier than all antecs cos it has a lot of depth. (probably 1.3-1.4 times the normal atx cases)

Edit: all antecs = mid towers. P160 has nearly the same dims. (1.5 inches less)
 
just asking how much wavemaster can accomodate , not going to put 4 optical drives
and 5 hdds

me was also considering centurion & cavalier as it comes without psu for below 5K
and they have front 80 & rear 120 fan. but dont know if they have removable mobo tray.

Okay :). You got me confused as most ppl here probably wont have a single fdd in their machine ;). Anyway here are the dimensions

3700BQE:
18.3'H x 8.25'W x 18.6'D

Wavemaster
18.1" x 7.8" x 21.3"

Lian Li PC-70 (Full tower)
8.3" x 23.5" x 23.2"

Edit: meant 23.2" x 8.3" x 23.5"

Nope that was just to give u an idea of how big Full towers are. It costs around 200$ in the states :).

as far as i know Lian-Li are makers of too plain jain looking cases.......they are a bit expensive but built like a skoda ....... anyways i don't like them ......
