Laptops any Acer ASPIRE 4520 oweners here??

Hi

I am planning to buy this laptop from Delhi.

I want to know if the DVD bundled with it includes the drivers for Win XP.

As I do not wish to install the Vista thing on this.

please reply.

sorry 4 the late reply but was busy...yes i am a 4520 user..the dvd doesn't contain all the drivers , u need to download it from acer-china website

the new DVD may contain WIN xP drivers
Earlier 4710 DVD used to contain only VISTA drivers but now it contains WIn XP drivers too.

i had purchased a 4520 for my friend
and it came preloaded wit linux. and no dvd.

Are you sure?? they generally carry the driver DVD, did u ask the seller about it??

it comes with cd/dvd check the content list of the product.
it contains drivers so far some are working, rest web.

i bought it from delta...

it came wit linux preloaded.. and no particular os or any other cd...

it infact says.. if u ever need to reinstall the os.. please feel free to download the os from FreeDOS | The FreeDOS Project

if anyone has the os dvd`s or the restore disks.. can u please let me know.. and can u please lend me a copy..
